I was brought in as a guest lecturer to teach a 6 week course in Touchdesigner by The University of Texas School of Design and Creative Technologies. The course met up once a week with each class spanning 3 hours. The class consisted of 20 graduate and undergraduate students of beginner to mid-level experience in Touchdesigner. Each class focused on a topic variety of topics on the use of Touchdesigner for prototyping, interactive installations and stage design. Much of the background of the students were of live performance and much of our classes focused on building things rapidly or modular pieces for live performance. It was a great experience for myself to solidify knowledge and learn how to teach a technical skill for creating a creative experience. Much of the class allowed for moments of exploration sprinkled into each short topic so the students could 'break things' and see what cool things they can discover from that or try to find their way back.
